As it says on the home page, I like finding the beauty in anything.  

I think what attracts me most to photography is that when you take a photograph, that is how that thing is at that particular point in time.  There is no ambiguity, no arguing, no other way about it. The "you are here" picture above is one of my favorite pictures that I've ever taken for this very reason: no matter who you are, what is or isn't happening in your life, or your perception of anything else, the one fact that is inarguably true at that moment is: you are there.

That being said, a picture can tell the whole story or omit all context.  A picture can make you see something new in something that you've looked at a hundred times before.  It can show exactly what a person is feeling or leave you wondering what they could possibly be thinking.  

And that is what I love about pictures.
